Very interestingly, we each discovered we are very like-minded ... more than just bieing Ford ehthusiasts.

I go here for motivation too. It develops like a great movie with the awesome ending just around the corner. Read the thread from day 1 to get the full effect.

Motivation

Motivation isn't a problem. I love my truck and love driving it. My problem is one I have discussed here before. It's WellImightaswellitis. I can't seem to finish one task without starting another. I also keep getting frustrated by the consistency of visitors I get while working on my rig. We are new to Kansas and it seems that an open garage door is the same as asking people to come distract you in person. I complain to my wife but she merely relpies that "You love to tinker so, they are just giving you more time to do that."
What's actually happening is, they are drinking my beer and bringing production to a halt.
I digress-
Look up Mike's or HIO's build thread. It will give you all the motivation you need. Mike is gone for long periods of time and gets straight into the truck when he gets home. That's motivation.
Finally, PBR sells motivation in the easy to use 12oz cans. Although, you may have to do some rework the next day.

Well dang I just found another Craigslist excuse to come to Gardner Ks...already been there once for the SC parts truck. I can drink PBR and wrench at the same time.

Go to Walmart and get a "Closed" sign, and put it on a stand in the drive way with some crime scene or danger yellow tape to keep them out of the garage. lol

Post shop rules like:

1. Show up, drink my beer, WORK ON MY TRUCK as instructed, you can stay.
2. Show up, drink my beer, don't work on my truck or support beer fund, LEAVE. Note: Showing up with pizza counts a supporting beer fund.
3. Show up, with your own beer, you can stay, but must shut up and hand tools and beer to guys working on my truck.
4. "Caution I sharpen my wrenches". Sign garage entrance waiver on clip board hanging on mailbox.

Its called OCD as far as one project leading to another, its ok we all have it being Ford guys.

Cause I know we would still get production. Plus I need to introduce you to a guy in Eudora that has more FE and 385 stuff than either of us could ever use... SCJ/ CJ/ PI heads/ Etc.

Ok really...I'll take the Ford parts challenge...but yes in the FE dept and Hipo stuff he already has me.

Wait it that Bob AKA (The Joker) Jenkins from Eurora, just north of Hwy 10, east of Lawrence? He has that silver SB 2wd F150 with the SCJ that is a screaming machine? Like 10's or 12's in a 1/4 without a cage in it?

He still owes me a 20 spot from our last all night bingo and Ford truck thunder run to Baldwin City. He plays the 100 dollar bill grab the dash/cash when I launch game with the chicks all the time, you loose you show'm. Ol perv...he's like 92.

Motivation is following him at 140 MPH coming south on Hwy 1061 towards 56/N200 road.

Could be some guy I do not know to? lol

Beedud clean out your PM in box. lol Does your KS chapter have much traffic? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum133/

If its slow there, feel free to stop on by the Mo chapter monthly chat/bs/tell a good lie thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum104/

Tim

This guy's name is Tim. He has the vegetable stand on county line road, 10 minutes from my house. The guy has a very nice collection of organized parts and a few nice trucks in his shop. He seems like a hobbyist but also seems like he makes a buck or two from his ventures. I bought my intake from him 2 months ago. Came off a 429 C/J with no EGR. HE has C/J heads, PI heads, and lots of other goodies. I'll take you out there and introduce you.
