Another oil thread

SO, I'm approaching on another oil change and was wanting to switch to the Rotella T6 5w-40 synthetic oil. My truck has over 200,000 miles on it and was wondering if it will hurt anything switching to synthetic? Bought the truck last year, so I don't know if it has ran syn. or not. Really just wanting to know if it will do any harm to the motor with that many miles on it? Thanks in advance for any advice!

You will have no problems switching now.

I switched to Valvoline 5-40 at 220k about 8 months ago, It's at 237k now and running better than when I used the Motorcraft blend.

I always used rotella 15w40. Then switched to rotella t6 5w40 full synthetic and my truck loves it. You'll be just fine, and your truck will thank you.
