T98 compatibility
So I've got a 64 F100 with the 262 inline six but it has a problem with a lifter that has more than likely wiped a lobe from the cam. The good news is a friend offered me a 300 inline six that was rebuilt 3-6 years ago that includes everything except a trans for 100$. Will the T98 four speed bolt to the 300?

Your T98 may have the "square" bolt pattern. The 300 bells are going to have a "butterfly" rectangular pattern. Look at those patterns to make sure.
The other way to go is to bring a T18, T 19 or NP 435 over with the 300. All were produced with the later trans to bell pattern.
Or go with a Mazda or ZF 5 speed. A bit more involved, but a world of difference in the end.

Did you find a place to buy one? I bought one about 12 years ago and when I tried later to get another they had been discontinued. I gave up after a while. Maybe they started making them again?
