howdy,

Dave here, just picked up a 41 ford pickup this past weekend and looking forward to bringing her back to life. I am a garage builder who was a automotive and then heavy equipment tech,. I love to work with my hands on anything I can, started repairing and building go karts, motorcycles as a kid and later on made a career at being a Caterpillar technician. I have a 31 roadster project build old school late 50's style and came upon a 41 ford truck this past weekend I could not pass up. always had the hots for a 40 3 window ford coupe or pick up since my first car show i went to as a kid. I will post some pics later, I have a long ways to go, body is pretty straight with only rust issues floor pan and cab corners, no engine or trans, but I want to build a driver so a more modern engine, trans, rear end set up is my thoughts. I will welcome any advice and look forward to seeing what everyone else is building or working on. if your wondering about the handle its daves grill a bbq thing, love to do cook offs and fundraisers for a good cause,
