I bought a 96 E350 Diesel with a stand up utility body a few days ago. Plan on insulating and carpeting the body and using it for hauling my work gear and motorcycle when I have to work out of town. Hope to eventually equip it like a mini RV while still leaving room for a chock and tiedown for my Harley.
Interior is about nine and a half by six. It has lockable toolboxes and storage down both sides
It's been sitting for about six months so it'll take a lot of touchup and detailing to make it look good. I've already repainted the grill,head light surrounds and front bumper and started polishing and cleaning the mildew off of it and installed a set of stainless hubcaps.
The odometer reads 154 thousand and the engine runs perfect. Replaced the fan motor and the a/c is ice cold. The whole brake system including master cylinder appears brand new and it has three new tires and the other three are good. Trans has some problems but I knew that going in,will have it rebuilt next week. Should be a fun project.
