After searching the forum, I couldn't find a very good answer, but I'm trying to determine the weight of my truck without having to go to the scales. Getting ready to get out of the Marines and need to weigh my stuff.
It's a 1977 F250 Regular cab, 351M C6 with Dealer A/C. If I had to guess, I'd say somewhere around 5000lb, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks in advance.
I have a 77 F150 4X4 and it weighs in at 4920 lbs. This should give a rough guess as the transfer case has got to weigh a few hundred lbs.
Hope this helps.
Semper Fi and welcome home
I'll say it's about the same, factoring in the weight increase from 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton and I'll have a truck box with junk in it. mine's a 2wd so I should've specified that. but it's close enough to the ballpark.
