whats the weight?

hi...i was hoping somebody could tell me what a bare stock 1995 f150 xlt 4x4 extended cab short box would weigh? the registration says reg. weight 10,000 but im not sure thats quite accurate...thanx

Your truck weighs about 4800 lbs.

k...thanx, but if it only weighs 4800 lbs, how come it says 10,000?

You are probably being overcharged for your tags. The GVW should be 6250, and yes, 4800 is about right for unladen.
