Replaced the TPS on 89 Bronco with 302. Went to put new one on, and was like crap, which way does it go back on? Does it matter?
Anyway, the it had been idling rough, and stalling out at times. Replaced the TPS, took out for a test drive and it seemed to run great. As I pulled back in my driveway it stalled.
I've seen posts saying it doesn't matter which way you put it on, others saying that it does, some saying once you put it on it needs to rotated, etc. Does anyone have the definitive answer on this?
Have you driven the truck anymore? is it running fine? stalling while backing up might mean the transmission is low on ATF and the transmission filter fell inside because of it.
