Just replaced a badly worn Hub on my 98 AWD Explorer. The grinding noise is gone but now the steering is binding/shaking during stopped or low speed turns.
Any thoughts on what is going on or what I might have done wrong?
Thanks for your feedback. How ever it seems to be a power steering issue. It does it with both front wheels off the ground. It seems to be going away the more I drive it. I did move the wheel back and forth a couple of times with the key in the on position without the motor running just to get at the bolts on the back of the hub but I don't know why that would create an issue.
Anyway it seems to be working itself out.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
