hey guys again lol.. as you know by now prob, i have a 76 f250 highboy. the front is only 2 inches taller than stock ( lift spring) now.
i know stock leaf springs are 2 inches more arched than the 77.5-79, and i have a 79 power steering box (4x4) that im putting in , and im not sure how much i would need for a drop pitman? because of the 2 inch lift and the other 2 inches because of the high boy springs
i didnt make my bracket up yet and weld it..so i guess ill find out when i do it..but i kinda want everything now, this way i can just throw everything together after i plate the frame and bolt it up.
so not sure if a stock droppiman would work? or somthing 2-4 inches? or just do the swap first then find out? thanks
Have you considered a drop drag link? I'll have to look back at my notes, but with my 4" lift, but I recall the bottom of the drop pitman arm could end up pretty close to the springs. Plus the adjustment in drop drag links can come in handy.
