i want to double check befor ordering..

ok got 79 f150 4x4 i have just installed 6" superflex coil springs.. i am getting ready to order the drop pitman arm. My question is, will a 4" drop pitman arm be enough drop?? i see that skyjacker sells a bigger one.. but the price is more then double.. is that why i find most guys running the 4inch drop pitman and track bar drop bracket and not the bigger one?? any info please and thanks

I ran 6.5" springs with the 4" pitman arm and it worked great.

a 4'' drop arm is good to around 8''s of lift. my old truck had the longer drop arm with a 6'' and was fine, but it was dumb looking. the p/o had a 12'' lift that he dropped down to a 6''.

Fyi, a 4 and 6 inch lift kit usually uses the same drop pitman arm...
