I don't know what to say. There's no MAF sensor where it says there is. There's nothing but tubes on the entire air cleaner assembly, with no sensors or even any wires on it. I took it all off, all the way to the TB. Removed the air horn, the air filter/box, disconnected the small tubes, and removed the two big tubes. There's just nothing there. What am I missing? I didn't follow the small hoses all the way to their source, is it somewhere in line with those?
What's the production date of the van? Late 1995? I'm wondering if you have an early 1996 production van, with a 1995 engine. Look at the emissions label under the hood or on the radiator yoke. One of the sentences starts out with: "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA ..." and it will show a year (towards the end of the sentence.) Additionally, it does appear that 1996 was the first year for an MAF on the 7.5 liter E Series.
