Man that really sucks. And of course no one claimed it, they just left. Karma will get them in the end.
Don't I know it. Going to take the van to the bodyshop Monday. We picked up the rental this morning ( State Farm said its not drivable due to busted tail light), its a 2014 Ford Escape AWD EcoBoost. I'm getting the feeling someone will be wanting a new ride soon.
Back in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Picked up this sweet '69 Ranger Thursday up in Ballground, GA. 360 and a three on the tree. Been working today on getting the paint to shine. Found a little issue where the truck higher on the passenger side of the bed than the drivers side. Just looks like the bed is twisted. I've crawled it looking for bad cab mounts/bushing and all looks good. Time to find a spring guy to have him take a look. I'm ditching the wheels and buying a set of wheel vintques steel wheels. 15x8 and and some blackwall 235/75/15's. Don't know if I'll leave the wheels primer like they come or paint them black with the dog dish caps I have.
Oh, too bad about the damage. Same thing happend to our '13 Challenger the day after we bought it. Talk about going nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People just have no dignity, compassion or just plain old respect anymore. BTW, my inlaws have a new escape with the ecoboost. Yeah, trick little suv. I like them.
Bed issue. You can tell in the above side shot that the drivers side rear is running downward.
