My spare just arrived yesterday. The price seems to have gone up a little, but Autonation had it in stock and it was on my door step the next day!
Great Matt, remember to take the sensors loose now and put anti-seize on them, not the copper type, and don't forget your 13mm flare wrench. By the way, mind giving us a ballpark figure as to how much they are now?
Price wasn't too bad. $35.84 plust $6.46 shipping. $42.30 total and I think the best price I could find on ebay was close to $45 at the time. I just recall people quoting around $38 shipped.
I have had three (3) to go out on my 2012 Lariet with less than 45K miles. In fact, I had two (2) to fail within 72 hours of one another. I was out in the middle of the country on the last two so I had to screw around with wasting time waiting on a wrecker and a trip to the dealer. No cost out of pocker but just a pain in the butt.
You certainly have more patience than I do. Too many options out there to waste time on the side of the road.

That's a decent price. Around what I paid for mine.
The reason I'm asking is we are readying for a cross country RV trip and my truck only has 4,500 miles. But I want to prepare. Anything else 6.7 specific I should carry besides DEF and my scan gauge.

I don't know what kind of anti seize I used. What will the copper do?
All of the techs I talked to say not to use an anti-seize with copper in it on exhaust due to the heat. They have said it makes getting them out more difficult. All have said to use one like Permatex gray bottle for it. I have just been following their advice.
I had a 2011 F-250 and seemed like in the 50K miles I drove the truck It needed at least 8-10 sensor changes. I finally deleted the egr and dpf equipment never had another code or stuck on the side of the road getting my clothes dirty changing sensors. Sold the truck to a friend now it has over 100K on it still deleted and no issues. My 2015 has almost 10K on it with no sensor problems so far, if it does I'll do the same to it. The new truck seems to have several more sensors in the dpf and scr than the first gen 6.7 does.
Have a 2013 F-450 that has 21,000 miles on it. The truck is in the shop right now for the third time due to sensors. I pull a 42' 18K 5th wheel toy hauler, towed about 14-15 K miles in past year. First sensor gave me a CE light, tech told me they had a tsb on pigtail and changed it. Two weeks later, went from south Fl. to Charlotte for NHRA races and got the DEF 500 miles to empty light. Had to get it fixed in Charlotte. Now a month later, got the same DEF 500 miles to empty light and truck is in the shop again. Getting to be a pain in the butt. Should be getting truck back today.

I guess I don't understand. How is the warning to refill the DEF a problem? I need to refill my def around 5K miles because I tow as well.
The message is suppose to appear and let you know to fill the tank.
