2002 i rebuilt engine and tranny over the past few months spending thousands and thousands all at once build finally got it running well i may have caused the issues when i installed my php hydra chip on the pcm i do have my battery light on and it is charging as well as starter, alt and batteries are new NOW while im here anyone notice a difference in a 2000 engine wiring harness VS a 2002 harness only difference i found was the orange and blue alt wires one goes to brick plug of engine harness conector the other goes to the starter/batterys willin to bed thats were my battery light issue is or heck it could be the hole issue 2000 goes from alt to batt 2002 is alt to brick plug of engine harness

engine runs amazing BTW tranny dont wanna shift past 3rd feels like it goes into 3rd and then slips, NOW i do have a check engine light i hook up my code reader and "no codes" to be shown but i can read truck speed and RPM's could that possibly a fried pcm but not fully fried? everthing else seems to be workin fine i know the pcm comunicates with the tranny telling it to shift and before i go rippin the tranny out i wanted to make sure pcm was good and not causing the issue iv searched but found nothing to my problems but a fried pcm can cause a code ready to not find codes

what iv tested was my high idle works my no start works as well as my injector tuning (stage 2 180/100's) (makes me think it its got a good connection found that out after un plugging chip to see if chip was causing code read failure and tranny issues well it didnt help truck just ran like crap due to injector tuning at idle BUT the truck is a beast with out tuner couldnt do a burn out before with the chip then i busted out a 100ft burn out iv contacted gearhead and waitin on replys and call backs from the hollidays

I know when I installed my chip , it took quite a little careful scrubbing to get the coating off of the computer….with all that you have done already,it'probably not the case but it can cause trouble if not installed completely

 

Maybe I missed this, but I would take the chip off and see how your truck runs with it off. Process of elimination, so to speak.
