surging rough ide ,shaking
I have a 2003 f350 6.0 KR with 153kms or around 95000 miles.For the last year or so what I think is called the trubo fart ..when pulling 5th wheel up hills but does not happen all the time and when I do not have 5th wheel on truck works fine up until today .Coming back from camping for a few days had a little bit of coughing farting from the truck when pushing up hills.THEN as I was backing into driveway with 5th wheel truck was running rough and shaking at idle and shook when backing tlr up.I am going to get truck fixed if I can ever find out whats going on as this is a new problem this shaking, rough idling . Would it show a code if I had it scanned?? I sure would like some help on this ,has anyone else who has a 6.0 had same problem and what did you do to correct it?? thanks in advance for any help...the winemaker

Not sure what to do at this point, set it on fire maybe?
I can tell you what was recommended to me and what I have done so far.
Changed the fuel filters, remove and inspect FICM, monitor FICM volts, bubble test, fuel pressure test. All the tests checked out good so far. I am going to remove and inspect and/or unplug EGR valve even though I have a cooler delete. Then change tunes.

Well had truck scanned and looks like TO START, no 5 injector is bad and going to get EGR cleaned and then I will see ..Taking it in the am to be fixed..Just a note my brother 2003 f350 6.0 had somewhat same problems ,he had scanned this pm and found his no 4 bad so he s going for new one and egr cleaning..thanks for help out there ..
