Hi, I'm working on a 1969 Jeep CJ5 and I put a clutch master cylinder in it out of a 1989 Ford Bronco. What type of connection does the hydraulic line use? I don't see any threads in the female bore on the master. And there is a hole for a crosspin there. A roll pin came with the master ( a Cardone from Autozone). I've never seen this setup before. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks guys. I wound up using a Speedway master that I had in the garage. This was after pulling a line from the junkyard. I see why the junkyard was the recommended source too. Those lines aren't cheap. Then I was going to have the hassle of adapting that plastic line with the "roll pin" fitting on one end to a steel line with a double flare & fitting on the other. Bottom line for me was that the 89 Ford master cylinder isn't really an ideal part for doing a "universal" or "hot rod" swap/mod or whatever you want to call it, as that fitting complicates things. But thanks, I appreciate your replies!
