Rim alternates
Hi All, Sorry I tried to search. For some reason it was tough to find what I was looking for..
I have an 05 Ex. 4wd. It has the standard alloy 16 inch wheels. I like them and they are in great shape.
I need some winter rims for this season. I have 16 inch tires already, so that's the size I need.
What is the compatible rim from a super duty? What years range etc. Or maybe a part number would help me.
I don't want to run spacers. I'd like either a similar rim, or alloy. Or maybe a nice silver steel wheel. I'm not sure what came on the super duties. I know there not going to be excursion rims at the wreaking yard as they are just to rare up here. But Superduty trucks are everywhere.
Am I simply looking for a 16 inch 8 bolt ford rim? I know the newer trucks had 17 inch and bigger, so I thought if I found a 16 inch it would be correct back spacing. Which is what?
I'm sure this topic has been covered lots already. But all I found was guys wanting 18 inch rims from Superdutys.
