Just yesterday I added a pair of 1A manual towing mirrors, marketed for the 08 - on my 02. They fit well and look good. They also road tested fine, no vibrations or optical imperfections. I'm happy with them.

I don't need the switched telescoping feature, but folding is a must for me.
Not true assuming you currently have power fold.

If you do you want the ones in this link not the ones in a previous post that came with a switch for ones that currently do not have it.

2014 Ford F150 Truck Power Heated Smoked Style Signal Power - Folding Textured Dual Arm Towing Mirror Pair at 1A Auto.com

These say 2007 to 2014 direct replacements. Anything you currently have will still function. I PM them to verify that they are manually telescoping.

Careful when ordering there appear to be multiple part numbers depending on what options you currently have.

Thanks very much for the link. I never knew they had them plug and play.

Thats ok, the site is a little confusing. There are several different mirrors. As in my case, I have a 2013 FX4 and am looking for the Super Duty style that came out in 2014 with the side marker/signal lights. In that case I am looking at the 2014 mirrors that I posted which include all the options that I currently have. The one thing I am not sure of are the puddle lights, I need to verify with them. I did send them a PM and confirmed that they are manual extension so you don't have to hassle with adding another switch for that.

Old Lariat mirrors

New towing mirrors.

They look great. Couple of questions. How much further out does the mirror stick out? Is the bottom convex adjustable? In the information about the mirror it says Does NOT include ambeant temperature sensor built in what does this mean? do I need to add something to it.
Found some on ebay from AM Auto parts on sale for $205 but was a little worried about the fit and finish over OEM parts

1A Auto seems to be the only ones selling an aftermarket Super Duty style for the F-150.

I have a 2014 f150 XLT with just power mirrors no indicators, heat etc. I am going to be buying the tow mirrors with the turn signal indicator and heated glass. I am glad to hear all of the other functions will work as they should , just wondering where does one buy this climate control unit with defrost and what is it worth approximately?

Measures 17.5 inches from the drivers side window. Don't know how far the old mirrors extend.

Manually moves left or right as you face it. It does not move up or down.

I'm not sure what it means by ambient temperature sensor... could be a feature I'm not aware of. For me the heated mirror works great... push the button, and the top mirror clears (convex mirror is not heated).

Ended up getting a pair from AM Auto ($205 shipped) and just love them, Thanks for your reply. Check your convex for movement if needed. When I got mine they were so far down that I could almost see the running boards but with two thumbs and some gentle pressure at the top of the convex I got it to move where I needed it. As far as the temperature sensor I found out the in some cars the ambient temp sensor in in the outside pass mirror but on our f150 it is located in the front grill. Side note I didn't have the puddle lights before but on the new mirrors they were there and they work like a champ. Very happy with the new hardware.
