Personally, I have to side with carpe_diem on this one. I am 29 and have had a personal boycot against China or the ROC for right about 14 years now. China is a massive sleeping giant that will end up overtaking the world market. First of all, they are the oldest surviving nation in the world. They are also the most populated. I am willing to bet that they are also one of the richest nations. With their slave labor ethics and their marketing plans the great people of this nation will only suffer. Everytime you walk in to a gas station, have you noticed all of the crap at the front door and hanging at the registars? All made in the R.O.C. and a slave labor product, produced cheap and marketed towards our children. This will only hinder our American since of well being in 50 years. Most of my friends buy cheep Taiwan(R.O.C.) tools because they can buy three of them, compared to the American equal. Nike shoes and Oakley sunglasses=slave labor. It is impossible to never purchase a product from that nation, but for me it is worth a try. I just wish that everyone in this great nation would give it a try themselves.

If Walmart keeps slashing prices everyday, like their ad's say, then why isn't anything free yet?
It is our government's responsibility to declare an embargo on them. If this massive trade was cut off, Chinese government would be impacted and would probably reform.
Instead they are declared Most Favored Nation (MFN) trader partner.
