R12 or R134a?
Well...I stopped by the local Ford dealer, donated $30.27 to the parts counter, and came away with a new "cycling switch". Got home, grabbed a 5/8" wrench, spun the old one off, stuck the new one one, and PRESTO...cold air blowing in the cab
Thanks a ton to everyone here... I'm SURE that saved me some cash. Now if I can just convince the wiff that I saved enough doing that to buy a nice, new, shiny diamond plate push bumper...hehehe

If you're facing the radiator, the compressor is to the right, and the dryer is over on the left. It's a black can about the size of a large can of B&M Baked Beans. The cycling/pressure switch is on the left side, with a plug that has two wires connected to it.

I followed Jerry's article that was referenced earlier here, I think.
Anyway, with the AC on in the cab, check to see if the compressor is running. You can tell it's running if the center is spinning. If not, pull the plug on the dryer and jumper between the contacts on the plug, NOT on the switch, but on the plug with the wires on it. If that starts the compressor, either the switch is bad, or you have low refridgerant.
Good luck,
