It probably does flex a little bit forward Jose. My engine was off, I don't think you could check anything with it running. I fit my thumb in front of mine and like I said saw no evidence of rubbing so "should" be fine.

Another plus for the 3" body lift I did 12 years ago.

I'd say some don't have an issue because essentially every truck is different in that the motor and body seem to always be in different spots relative to each other.

Could also be that some of our trucks don't have that front lip. Mine doesn't.

I wonder what, or if this is just certain years of are trucks that are affected.

Running mine w/o issue s for over a year now. I even drove the the truck into a ditch and since that abrupt movement did not displace the fan into the shroud, I feel safe using the mod but will check clearance.
