Interior Lighting Kit from Lincoln

Interior Lighting Kit from Lincoln

Anybody have any experience installing an interior lighting kit from Lincoln in a Navigator? Was it simple or would your recommend the dealership do it? Wanting to add to a 2009 Navigator L

Seriously doubt a dealer would undergo this task. An aftermarket radio installer might. Sounds like a lot of trouble when you could add your own led's from Oznium.com.

That may be true but it is offered as an accessory on the Lincoln owners website. It doesn't mention any details on how to install though. That is one thing I'm glad has been added to the 2015 as a standard option.

I added it to my Expedition. Not that hard at all if you have some technical ability. The kits do not come with directions though so I had to search online for some. Closest I came was the F150 ones.

Yup multiple colors ( seven I think)

It does not tie into the dimmer, instead it ties into the parking lights. So at night when you unlock the vehicle the ambient lights go on too. It has its own button that you can toggle through the various colors plus shut it off all together. Once you get to a color you want it stays there until you change it again.

It is one of those mods that once you get used to it you wonder how you got by without it. I never realized how dark the cabin is without it.

I thought I had posted pics back when I installed it but I'm not sure if tey are still on here.
