rust repair patch panel recommendations

I am looking to patch in some rust repair panels in extended cab portion of the rocker panels of my truck and was wondering what brand most people get. It seems the main suppliers that I have found are LMC truck and Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. Has anyone bought panels from these guys? How was the quality, fit and finish? Any other suppliers out there that have a better or same quality product?

Thanks.

Are they all basically the same or are there some that are better/thicker metal?

I've always bought mine from a local outfit here in Wisconsin or at auto swap meets. I can't speak to the quality of others but, like anything else, I'm sure there are differences.

A guy at my work uses LMC for his GM trucks, he seems to like them. Might also be because its local and he can run out there and pick them up from their showroom. Worth a look at least

I bought a set off ebay for 89 last spring
Thickness was good, fit on front required some tweeking. If you have any metal work experience its not bad. Just be prepared for some metal replacement inside of the outer skin. Also, get as much foam out as possible, don't want a fire. Get some weld through primer too.

I am hoping to catch it early enough that I won't have to replace much inner material. Didn't think about weld through primer though, good advice. I don't have much metal working experience so hopefully they will line up pretty good.

I like NPD or Bronco Graveyard. LMC is pretty much junk

Brad, how dos the quality compare between the two suppliers, fit and finish? Seems like NPD has slightly better prices than Bronco Graveyard, unless Bronco Graveyard gives a discount to FTE member....

After the handful of things I bought from LMC were wrong or JUNK I stopped buying from them.

Prime example:

79 F150 wheel well trim. it took an HOUR per wheel well to bend and mold the trim to fit. You would of thought they sent me ones for a dodge(I called and the part # was right)
