I know everyone wants a crew cab but I personally really like the super cab long boxes. The long tough 4x4 is nothing short of a sexy truck. Where did they all go? I search around on this sight for inspiration on where to go with mine but find few. Any pics?
My project. 1977 F-350 Ranger XLT Camper Special. I'm going all stock. I'll be picking up some 16.5 wheels today. I'm waiting on the Tailgate from the PO before I do body work and paint. (I already have all the patch panels) I'm currently on the hunt for a factory canopy.
there is one down in my dad's field. it is way too far gone though. think its been there 20 years now. it is also right on the ground. no tires/rims etc. kinda sucks to. he bought it for the rear end and the guy told him the truck had problems and was no good... turned out it was the motor needed tuned up and had problems.... d'oh! its even green and white!
Keep in mind that the 4X4 supercab combo was only produced in the last two years of this body style. So they are all relatively rare. They only made about 1700 of Chris' 79 F350 4X4's.
.......... and most of us have trucks that are "works in progress".
