plugs

When I got my 06 navigator with 40,000 miles on it I changed the plugs within a week. All the factory plugs came out no problem..... Now at 140,000 not quite so lucky. Broke two today. Picked up the tool at NAPA (lisle tool Napa part number) worked awesome. Running like a champ again. Wonder which coil will fail me next?

Okay, let's try #8 instead. Nothing comes easy with these trucks.

I wish I had put new coils in #'s 3&4, 7&8 when I did the plugs. 4,7,and 8 have gone since then lol. The rest are still original and I have 5 extra ebay coils for when those go

Love the eBay coils. I got mine for the v10 so I would have extras. $99 I think. The set of expensive accel coils started going bad after three months. Then a couple parts store coils because they were handy. Now I carry 2 coils and the tools in my console plus a scanner/tuner in the seat back.
