Like nlemerise said time to clean up the valley. Toward the front of the valley are the IPR, non serviceable plug of HPOP, HPOP line fittings, HPOP. Further back is the turbo and pedestal, EBPV actuator.
Fuel leaks are not uncommon at all on these motors as seals get old. As the fuel sits in the valley and runs down the back of the motor it picks up oil residue and other crud and can look like an oil spot when it finally gets to the ground.
Once you figure out where it's coming from let us know. Someone here has had to fix it at some point and we'll be glad to help you figure out how, be it tools or parts.
Ive been at it all day i cleaned the valey up pretty good. But still cant find anything leaking toward the front. The hpop "non serviceable plug" doesnt seem to be leaking and niether do the line fittings or IPR. the other plug on the back of it doesnt have a noticeable leak when the trucks running but i did find a small bead of oil on the bottom of it later when the truck was off. Doesnt look like the turbo is leaking the oil, gona try and find a mirror and see if the leak can be back there on the pedestal. There
So i found where it is drippin! I put a paper towel in the valley and drove a couple miles and found that it is dripping from where the rear plate and "snap ring" is. The oil collects on the bottom lip and drips to the valley. I found the o ring kit for the seal behind the plate and snap ring anyone ever done this repair? Not sure how to do it. Or it can be coming from the rear plug and dripping down the rear plate but i dont think so i hope its that plug.
