fuel system problem

You need an easy out that fits and buy the prper updated plug with only a knurled **** on it. Once you easy out it, have the new plug and a catch basis waiting. The trick with an easy out is pressure to make it grip, it's like a drill bit in reverse which will bite and get it loose. The updated part is on this site if you search and it's easier to use. It does not need to be very tight, it has a no ring which provides the seal against the fuel. Tighten with your hand only and you won't have more trouble. I had to do the same after 8 years of draining and 100 k miles or so.
