OT: Please help ID this car

Once again I am asking for help because there are so many people on this forum who know their cars. This car has been implicated in two burglaries in our neighborhood this week and we are looking to get the make, model and year if possible. The emblem looks like a Chevy to me.

Thanks for any help on this

I`m seeing clear eyebrows rather than black but otherwise yessirreee..

I think you nailed it Paul. Man you guys are good! We are putting together information for the police and hopefully Monday we will be assigned an investigator. They just busted a pair a month ago, younger ones in their 20's and they found lots of stuff in one of their bedrooms belonging to our neighborhood residents. His mother was the one that actually tipped off the police. This punk started fighting with the arresting officer and almost got hit by a passing car.

OK... this is one of my many tasks at work - analyze security video footage and extract what clues I can.

The model year of the Kia Rio can be from 2006 to 2009, but the models before and after have very different noses/wheel wells.

The one in the picture doesn't look to have the black trim behind the rear wheel - and the side trim looks like it color-matches the car (not black) making it a little more rare.

It does have the black "smile" on the nose and black trim on the bottom of the side mirrors.

I also noticed it has six-spoke wheels. This is common, but there are also 5 and 8-spoke wheels available.

I can't see the little side marker light behind the front wheel, so that's another unique feature.

I bet if you take these details to the KIA dealership, they can tell you if it's an SX or LX... or something like that.
