Jim - I can't rep him either. But he did answer your question and explained why I couldn't. Yes, that is a superseded part. But I couldn't tell because I have a 91 version of the catalog and they didn't add the later number, they replaced the original number with the later number.
Yes, it must have been/be a huge pain if you worked with the parts all day every day. But there are lots and lots of frustrations with the MPC. For instance, the part # I looked up for Matthew yesterday shows in the Illustration section but not in the Text section. Apparently it was only available in a kit with other parts, but by not even listing it there is no name given to it.
Having said that, with all the carping I've done and will do about the MPC it is still an essential tool for me. Couldn't be without it. But, it sure gives me a lot of opportunities to gripe.
You don't have to pay shipping if you pick it up at the dealer.
Plus $4.95 shipping.
I was giving the all in cost.
Uhaul has a basic $4.95 shipping and combines on orders.
I saw 3x10' sheets of 14Ga. Sheetmetal for $15 with $4.95 shipping.
Imagine their actual cost if you bought a dozen!
You'd make out like a bandit.
