I have an idea! How about using the advanced search feature for "seat swap" in the 73-79 forum?
Wait. Let me try...... success!

sooboy460 up a 96 seat should bolt right in using the original sliders. Just un bolt the bracket off the bottom the new seat and install the old one.
Here is a idea..count this guys lug nuts. Yep a 8 lug conversion, now you really got the wheels spinning in your head.
With real new seats the bottom frame mount legs must be modified cause the shape of the new truck floor is way different.

I don't know if the pictures loaded or not, but these seats were GM I think and came with a console that opened up to match the seats so you could seat 3 if needed. I had to get a little creative on the mounting but I used original mounting holes plus 2 between the seats and have not installed the console yet. The 3rd picture shows them upside down so you can see the framework I put under them and they still retain independent forward and back motion too.
If the pictures didn't load then never mind... Hope they did

Thank you! I have tried a couple times in the past when someone asked that question and I guess they finally figured out how not tech savvy some of us are and simplified it a bit.
I like the using original bolt holes part even though it took most of the time to get right, they sure sit solid in there..
