Electronic throttle failure.
I have a 2002 7.3 diesel. Fuse # 42 kept blowing on the throttle control. It also takes out the gauges. Finally, installing a new fuse failed to fix it and I am dead in the water. Truck will just sit there and idle. Fuse doesn' blow any more.
Any ideas out there and has anyone else had this problem. Shorted wire?

He may not have. It got moved here from another forum. I know when I first started using boards I posted something only to come back the next day and find it gone. Figured I had done something wrong and it had been removed. Finally figured it out some time later but that didn't help me that day.
