hi need help on my 2001 f150 brakes. back left flexible brake hose, the side on caliber no problem bolt comes right out. the other end of hose goes to hard brake line, this is where I'm stuck. you can put a wrench on the flexible hose end but the hard brake line going into it has a round end, HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE FLEXIBLE BRAKE HOSE FROM THE HARD BRAKE LINE. in a nut shell my hard line has a pin hole in it. i bought a 5ft piece of bendable brake line, one side went into the t just past the drive shaft, the other end goes to the calibers hose end, which i I'm stuck.

I've (luckily!) never seen a transition connection from steel tubing brake line to brake hose that did not have a hex or something on the tubing-ends flare fitting. Otherwise, how could it be assembled?
Any chance you are not looking at it right, and thinking the hex flare-nut end is part of the hose assembly instead?
Thanks torky2 I feel the same way, there should a nut at end of hard brake line. I've done this before on a Toyota nut was there. I'm trying to post photo but do not know how. I got the hole piece off. hard line and caliber hose in 1piece I'm bringing the hole thing to auto pArts store
for those who ponder on this problem, ford screwed you. you have to buy new flexible brake line for caliber and new hard brake line. the factory spot welded these together. so you have to buy both. good news is they have a bendable hard brake line which makes life much easier just screw it in and bend your way to caliber.
