Neutral Safety Switch? 79f150 need help!!!!
Will do,.. Thank you for your awesome advice !!! It is very comforting to know if it won't start, I just need to pop the hood and jump the solenoid to be on my way.

A PO had semi-permantely jumped the solenoid in my truck. Even had wires run to a push switch taped to the steering column. LOL. I drove it that way for two years. Until yesterday actually when I yanked the NSS and tied the wires together. I had been having a problem with the solenoid sticking and I really think that the jumper had a lot to do with it. I also think that it had something to do with my ignition wire getting over hot and trying to burn up. Truck starts much quicker now and the radio doesn't reset every time I start the truck. LOL
So basically, I said all that to say this, jumping the solenoid will work but only for the short time, don't rely on it as a long term fix or it MAY cause other issues.
