Do you have a source on this? I would like this to be true and have the box kept at longer than 78"

 

I know that the cab is longer. I don't have specifics on bed size, but I don't think Ford would ditch the 6.75' bed and shorten it to 6.5'. Too many people use these for towing fifth wheels and goose necks and Ford won't jeopardize that business.
