I souped up my 300-6 ten years ago or so and I still love the way it runs and sounds. The difference in performance is almost unreal. It was like a completely different vehicle when I got done. I don't get single digit mileage either. And if the hood is open people can't believe their eyes, whereas who cares about another V8. By switching engines you are opening a big can of worms, that's why I didn't do it. If you want a V8 truck buy one. Much, much easier.
I have a 95 f150 4x4 with the fuel injected 6. I put 31x10.5's on it and now it has a hard time getting out of its own way. I am on a budget so what do you think would make the biggest difference for the price. Thanks
