Installing airbags tonight...
Got the firestone 2550 kit, inside the frame mounting, no drilling required. Have to install tonight.
Looking over the instructions it doesn't say anything about having to remove the wheels or jack the truck up. I would love it if this were the case.
Can anyone confirm? If I need to get some room in the suspension I could jack up the trailer hitch a bit....
Also any other tips????

Don't remember the number, but my inside the frame firestone bag kit did not require jacking up the truck or removing the wheels. Biggest problem I had was the instructions didn't say it was an inboard system and I couldn't figure out how to get it installed outside the frame rail. Once I got past that little issue, the rest was easy.
Only advice I have is to remember to put the heat shield on the passenger side bag before you install it so you don't have to take it back apart.

How much extra weight can these things help the truck carry?
crew cab short bed. Will be pulling a 22' enclosed bumper pull trailer grossing about 9, maybe 10k. Say 1500lbs of tongue weight.
Additionally will have my fuel tank full ,my 45 gallon transfer tank full, gull wing tool box full of tools, and need another 350lbs in the bed of the truck.
I pulled a similar trailer load last month and the rear sagged decently. This time the trailer load will be around the same weight but will be the first time doing it with the extra 350lbs of containers in the truck bed.

Airbags don't change the load capacity of your truck. They just level it out when you have a load on it. I've had a much heavier load than you're describing on my truck and the air bags have handled that with no problem.
