waiting for build date?
hello! I ordered a 2014 F-150 on july8. dealer gave me vin#on july12. truck suposed to be built in KC. does anyone know how to check or track the process? dealer says end of aug. or beginning of sept.,plus transit time to pitt.pa. thanks

I don't know if its all ford models but i work for a truck upfitter and Ford has been VERY slow to produce trucks, from Super duty's to F-150s to Expeditions my timelines have been extended and extended again when i'm supposed to receive the trucks for upfit. I'm not sure what the issue is but its effecting many of my customers and my fleet contacts at multiple dealers are all having the same issues.

When I ordered my 99 350 SD I was told it would be 11 months to get. It showed up in 7. It was worth the wait. I still have it, along with the 13 f150. The 350 turned its first 100k last saturday.
