Where can one buy the bolts that mount the leaf springs to the frame? need bolts and nuts for both sides. thanks.
prefer not the dealer. Im sure its a special kind oif shoulder bolt where a fastenal unit probably wont do?
Regular grade 8 bolts from the hardware store will work just fine. I'm pretty sure they are 5/8 bolts. You can also get them from a local spring shop for 1/2 the cost of the dealer.
dont htink its 5/8ths as the SD are metric, so would need an equivalent metric size. M16 i believe
whats the shoulder width and length on a stock bolt?
If you are trying to get them locally, definitely get Grade 8, don't settle for Grade 5. I know a handful of guys that say the Grade 5 is fine to use but I never been a fan of the lower grade spring eye bolts, especially for the rear suspension.
