OK ya I guess I need to ask the question a different way I was wanting to know if removing the VC`s and starting the engine and observeing the oil flow from the oil spouts on the injectors would I be able to see an injector not working rite or will I just give everything under the hood a oil bath. And where is a good place to look for torque specs. on everthing under the VC`s that would be available to titen-up while I`m in there? And where do I go to pay membership fee to become a supporter to this site? Thanks everyone.

You can run the engine all day with the valve covers off without making a mess. If you pull them off with the engine cold then start the engine, watch the oil spouts (they're aluminum, and attached to the hold down bracket of each injector with an allen bolt) for oil discharge. Any spouts that don't spit oil indicate that the injector isn't firing.
