August Chat Thread

Hey Everyone !!!
Man we are going wide open. But we are really getting things done. It looks like the really hot weather has finally broken, mid 90's but it is bearable. Can't wait to smell some grass and pine trees. It has rained once in 3 months, and it was a drizzle for about 5 minutes. Coming home in October for some R & R, or as my wife calls it 2 weeks of honey do's before I go back and she has to fend for herself again.

I approved 2 new members today: We come WoodyUSSLUCE and row57 to the Georgia Forum !!!!!!!

Shadow,
Your true friends will always be in your future. Once you find that special woman you won't worry about having friends around. An education is the way to go. I do not mind helping around the house, the worst part is being gone and something breaks and I can't help. The wife is a trooper and handles everything while I am deployed, she's the best.

Hell bronco you should try closing a base that has been here over 10 years!!!! You find all kinds of stuff that has been hidden away for years. We are getting there with the work, still busy but back breaking like it was. No complaints as my new base is really pretty nice. Well back out to see what needs to get done today.

Hey Guys!!!
Sorry I have been out of the loop for such a long time. We finally have Camp Phoenix closed and turned over the the Afghan Army. I am heading over to my duty assignment today so it will take a few days to get settled in.

Congrats on the new baby!!!! I miss my daughter so bad. Planning on coming home in October for my leave. Don't know how much rest and relaxation as we are currently looking at buying a new house in Ringgold. The retirement house!!!
