Off Topic Speedometer Cable
I have been in contact with someone in the Netherlands. He is putting a 4.6 motor & 4R70W trans from a '95 Tbird into a '53 F100. He needs a mechanical speedometer cable as well as a VSS signal for a Baumann Controller. I think that he can use a gear driven speedometer cable with a Cruise Control VSS.
Does the 4R70W support a gear driven speedometer?
What year & model will have the speedometer sensor?
I think that he will have to make a hybrid cable with the mechanical speedometer connector on one end and the '53 F100 speedometer connector on the other.
