Tailgate question
I am looking to swap out my tailgate for a newer one with the factory rearview camera, have found a setup that would replace the ford emblem with a camera for a decent price but need to have the logo in the middle of the tailgate. What is the earliest year that I could swap out with ( I have an '06 SD)? Or I could go with the handle mounted camera as an option.

Ok I was looking at newer tailgates and was amazed at how much they want for them. I mean really $500 for a blank one with nothing on it? and someone said something about a special bracket that was needed for the older ( 99 - 07 ) trucks for the newer gates to work, I went and compared a newer gate (09) to mine and did not see anything different or added to the newer one that was not on mine.

I bought this and it works great. I hooked it up to my Alpine stereo system and comes on automatically when I shift into reverse.
