U Joint Replacement Zirk Direction?
I am replacing the U joints and didn't pay attention to which way the grease zirk was facing. 
I indexed the shaft yoke with the differential yoke but I need to know which way to face the zirk. Should the zirk face the shaft or the diff?

You'll reach it easier if it angles towards the drive shaft and the joint will take more torque if the threaded hole is "in compression" under power.
Or you can get Super Strengths that have the zerk in the end of one bearing cup.

As far as I know it does not matter what direction, just as long as you get the end of a grease gun on it. If its in wrong you can't get the end on there.
And adding a longer grease zert with a 90 is a "fail", better to just flip the u joint around to ghet the zert in the right direction.
