I am replacing the U joints and didn't pay attention to which way the grease zirk was facing. I indexed the shaft yoke with the differential yoke but I need to know which way to face the zirk. Should the zirk face the shaft or the diff?
As far as I know it does not matter what direction, just as long as you get the end of a grease gun on it. If its in wrong you can't get the end on there.
And adding a longer grease zert with a 90 is a "fail", better to just flip the u joint around to ghet the zert in the right direction.
Well, one way you can usually get the regular grease snap on end to work, the other way you may need to use the tip with concave plastic tip and hold it tight to the zerk.
