Just got home from a week in Yosemite last night. Entered the park from Tioga Pass and drove out the South gate through Oakhurst and Merced. Didn't make it further South than Oakhurst so was still a ways from Fresno (Jim's stomping grounds) but same general area. Dang, Jim, you live in some freakin' HOTASS'd country. Good to be home now where it's cooler.
Looking at the map, it looks like it's several miles west of Coursegold. How far from Hwy 41 is the town of Raymond? Is it a good road? I'd be pulling a 33' fifth wheel trailer.
Thanks for the tip.
you're welcome, anytime. its about 10-15 miles off 41 and it is a narrower 2 lane road...but there is plenty to see on the drive. I couldn't give you an honest opinion on whether or not to take trailer, never towed anything that long myself. I do know that many people take horse trailers and there is a turnaround in town, well if you call it a town, there is a church and the hills pride inn pretty much
My grandpa stays in Coarsegold and we usually go home from Hills Pride down dirt roads, kind of a white knuckle experience with him behind the wheel "hold on Joe, I needs new tires in back"

That is why I bought it. Low miles and the inside is almost new. The story is the guy I bought it from got it so He and his son would have a truck to work on together. That never happened so his wife told him he needed to sell is. Lucky me! I bought it and bought new tires, rims and front bumper.
to keep it brief, hope you're first day of the week was uneventful.
