I big wheel puller is the only way to get it off.
You do know that you will need to put a new crush sleeve in

Is it a Dana 80? They don't have a crush sleeve, but the pinion nut has a 470 ft/lbs torque spec . . .

Goodness how the hell do you torque it back down to 470 thats crazy

Should i heat it up to get the nut off of it or could that cause any damage to anything near or around the pumpkin

A 3/4 inch impact should brake it loose.

That nut should be a self-locking nut, so it will turn hard till the lock threads are clear of the pinion shaft. PB Blaster won't hurt, but either a 3/4 inch impact, or a big breaker bar is what you need.

Either a torque multiplier, or a 500 ft/lb torque wrench. Something like this: D4F500FM Dial Torque Wrench Ft Lbs 3/4 | Pro Torque Tools

I'm sure there are other places selling it for less, but it still won't be a cheap tool.

That's something I don't think I'd apply heat to.

Air. That's not a cheap tool to buy if you're getting one just for that nut. Is the 46mm socket a 3/4" drive? That size socket likely is.

I have a 55 gallon air tank cranked to the max psi and it still would not come off i was thinking to use my electric impact gun but my buddy that lives next door to me is telling me that the air impact would be the way to go because it has way more torque than an electric one

3/4 drive

I believe that to be true, air is the way to go, Make sure you put some oil in the gun and use a big air line, those 3/4 guns need fat air lines, 3/8 wont cut it, ya need at least a 1/2" sorry for the bad news, you might as well blow threw a straw.

And not all air impacts are created equal. But agree 1/2 Dia. air supply, especially the older impacts.
