Just throwing it there, but try unplugging the fan and see if the clutch is sticking.

The fan is electrically controlled but is still operates somewhat as a thermostatic clutch as well.

Interesting. I ran the van yesterday and today without the A/C on at all, not even from the start and the fan never came on. I got hot but that didn't cause the fan to come on either. Hmmmm, never ran it for a long period but engine was warmed up and I even got on it some. So, on the past trials I had run the air and then turned it off and didn't seem to affect anything, fan still came on at most every stop. So now, I will check this "don't turn air on at all" thing out and see if it continues to not come on. If this holds true.......thoughts?
