Exclamation WIRES???????

So I want to know where these wires are supposed to go. The one with 4 wires is between the go and brake Peddle. The outher three wires are coming out of the firewall behind the parking brake peddle. This is one my 1989 f350 IDI.

Clutch safety switch?
This is present even in an automatic truck, just there should be jumper plug there.

Do you have the proper EVTM?

The R/R/LG/LG four-wire (it's actually a six wire bundle but two aren't used on the diesel) is your CLUTCH INTERLOCK SWITCH and is wired to a connector which goes to the under-dash clutch assembly. The R (Red) leads are for starter control, the LG (Light Green) leads are for Stop Lamp Switch to Turn Signal Switch

The R/R/DB (Red/Red/Dark Brown) three-wire is your TRAILER TOW RELAY and normally would have a female plug .

It is the Ford Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual.
This is a great book (by year and line) that you can often find on Ebay for $10-20

It breaks out the wiring and vacuum lines into discreet circuits and outlines testing each component.
Every harness splice is shown.
Pinouts for all the plugs.

Very handy if you work on your truck.
