So about one month ago the batteries in my Excursion went bad along with my alternator.
I got two new batteries and replaced the alternator in the truck. After that happened the truck started to have this issue.
When you take the gear shift from park to reverse and start to let off the brake the speedometer will jump from 0 to 60-100 and then the engine wants to stumble and die. When you go from N to Drive and let off the brake and give it only a little gas it does the same thing but as soon as you get going in drive and the speedometer starts registering your speed it no longer has the issue. It drives fine and shifts just fine also. This only happens in the afternoon when it is over 105 degrees outside and the truck is warmed up.
Does anyone know what I should be checking to see what might be causing this issue.
