Looking for some beefy springs for my build. I dont like how most new 350s you throw a little landscape trailer on em and theyre dragging ***.
I prefer to have the rear end higher than the front unloaded, and wiuth 2000 lbs of wood or metal in the bed have it at least level.
i have seen these 7 leaf version on a few sites but no OEM number. is this purely an aftermarket setup?
or am i going overkill, and should I just get some C code 4/1 leafs which are a total height of 9.1". or another stock version ?? Two stge seems nice since i dont need to have that helper spring with its own mounts.
It kind of depends on what you think is going to be enough for your vehicle. The 43-1263HD is a pretty heavy spring. We sell them a lot to customers who do heavy landscaping and a lot of asphalt and seal coating. (A lot of weight int he bed along with a lot of weight on the trailer or equipment they are towing)
We have an in between spring between the 43-1263 and 43-1263HD. It gives you approximately 1,000 lbs over stock for the entire rear springs. It gives you a "best of both worlds" kind of thing, more weight capacity without killing the ride that the HD would give you.
Let me know if you would like me to send you some pricing.
and the guy was willing to beat sdtrucksprings by $20 and had it shipped straight to my company for a F350 landscaping truck. The springs are super heavy duty.
That is kind of steep for that spring. Give me a shout if you ever need other suspension parts, can definitely save you some money and get you some good quality parts
